For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Risk Manager to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space.

This role will lead enterprise risk transfer and claims handling activities, with a strong emphasis on insurance strategy, governance, and service partner oversight. The Sr. Risk Manager will partner closely with internal business stakeholders and external service providers to strengthen risk management practices and improve operational outcomes. This position is well suited for a professional who can combine analytical rigor, relationship management, and practical problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

- Develop and direct a risk management program for risk transfer and claims handling

- Oversee strategic partners and conduct audits to ensure service level agreements are met

- Plan, implement, and improve insurance and claims best practices

- Mentor risk management personnel on insurance access and usage

- Influence and educate business partners through effective communication

- Conduct root cause analysis based on audit findings and manage issue resolution

- Complete risk management assignments accurately and on time

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field required

- Minimum 7 years of experience in insurance activities, including purchasing, claims, analysis, and vendor management

- Associate in Risk Management (ARM) certification preferred

- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
