For our client, we are seeking a Managed Care Pharmacist - Managed Care/PBM to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space.
This remote opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist who can help shape managed care strategy, strengthen pharmacy benefit management operations, and support clinical program performance.
The role will partner with health plan leadership and diverse stakeholders to evaluate outcomes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive quality improvement across pharmacy programs.
The work also requires a strong understanding of formulary strategy, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients on pharmacy benefit management operations
- Report on pharmacy performance metrics to health plan leadership
- Develop clinical quality programs to address care gaps
- Implement and evaluate clinical program initiatives
- Identify cost-saving and quality improvement opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders
- Conduct data-driven assessments of clinical program outcomes
- Serve as a liaison for oversight of clinical programs
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted pharmacy license in state of residence
- 3+ years of managed care pharmacy experience
- Board Certification in Managed Care Pharmacy preferred
- Experience with pharmacy formulary strategy and design
- Knowledge of CMS regulations and HIPAA compliance
