About The Role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Supplier Data Management (SDM) team. This team is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Akeneo Supplier Data Manager, which serves as the primary entry point to the Akeneo Product Cloud for supplier data. The SDM platform addresses the complex challenge of onboarding and processing large volumes of supplier data, which often arrives in various formats such as spreadsheets, PDFs, and images. The platform automates the cleaning, classification, enrichment, and verification of this data through a pipeline of interconnected modules, including mapping, validation, classification, extraction, and multi-destination distribution.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on scalable, reliable systems that handle industry-specific data quirks and formatting inconsistencies. You will contribute to building features end-to-end, from backend data processing pipelines to frontend interfaces using TypeScript and React. As part of a cross-functional team, you will own your work, participate in customer discovery, and collaborate across the wider Product Cloud ecosystem. Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, PHP, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Experience with data processing pipelines and handling large, complex datasets
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, especially TypeScript and React, is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for debugging and troubleshooting complex issues
- Ability to work across the full stack and adapt to different technical environments
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset
- Self-motivated learner with a curiosity for AI tools and innovative solutions

Responsibilities
- Develop and ship features across the SDM platform, including backend data pipelines and frontend interfaces
- Contribute to the core data processing modules that convert unstructured supplier data into reliable catalog information
- Enhance the reliability and scalability of data extraction, classification, and validation processes
- Own your code from development through deployment, monitoring, and support activities
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team knowledge sharing to foster continuous improvement
- Engage in customer discovery to understand user needs and incorporate feedback into product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Product Cloud to ensure seamless integration and platform coherence
- Leverage AI tools such as Claude Code to explore, experiment, and reason through technical challenges
- Contribute to building a robust, scalable system capable of handling high-volume, industry-specific data processing
