About The Role

The Graphic Designer within the Creative Department at LEO Events plays a vital role in developing and executing compelling visual content for a diverse range of corporate events and internal marketing initiatives. Reporting directly to the Art Director, this full-time, exempt position requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who can produce innovative designs that align with brand standards and event themes. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing proposals, event branding, logos, presentations, environmental signage, and digital/print assets, ensuring consistency and originality across all deliverables. This role demands a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, often collaborating with internal teams, freelancers, and clients. The Graphic Designer will also have opportunities to present concepts directly to clients and contribute to the creative vision of the company’s projects.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

- 4-5 years of professional design experience

- Expert proficiency in Mac OSX and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

- Mid-level knowledge of Keynote/PowerPoint and Canva

- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)

- Strong cataloging and photo/graphics editing skills

- Knowledge of Generative AI tools is a plus

- Familiarity with Dropbox and Asana is advantageous

- Experience with corporate live events or production is a plus but not mandatory

- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to adapt to industry trends and incorporate feedback effectively

Responsibilities

- Design and develop visual content for large-scale corporate events, including proposals, branding, logos, environmental signage, and presentations

- Create digital and print assets that adhere to brand standards and event themes, ensuring consistency across all materials

- Collaborate with internal teams, freelancers, and clients to produce innovative design solutions in a timely manner

- Maintain and organize creative assets, utilizing databases and filing systems for quick access and version control

- Assist in producing internal marketing materials such as capabilities documents, advertisements, e-newsletters, and small print collateral

- Work closely with senior Creative team members to develop client-facing materials for RFPs, signage, and registration assets

- Take ownership of smaller project graphics, delegating tasks as appropriate, and managing project timelines effectively

- Present design concepts and ideas to clients during calls or meetings, incorporating feedback to refine deliverables

- Stay informed of industry trends and incorporate innovative design elements into projects

- Travel and work nights or weekends as required to support event execution
