Job Description
- Manages and coordinates logistics service providers, carriers, and suppliers across relevant
- markets, ensuring service reliability, cost efficiency, compliance, and adherence to agreed service levels.
- Manages procurement activities related to supply chain and logistics, including sourcing, competitive bidding, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, rate benchmarking, and vendor performance management.
- Applies data-driven analysis to optimize logistics costs and spend, identify savings opportunities, understand key cost drivers, and develop strategies to improve logistics and supply chain efficiency.
- Works closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Finance, Operations, and other internal teams, as well as external logistics service providers, to deliver business and operational objectives.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Logistics Management
- Industrial Engineering
- Business Administration
- Procurement / Purchasing
- Operations Management
- Any related field
Professional certification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Logistics (e.g., CIPS, CSCP, CPSM) is an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, transportation, or supply chain, preferably in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a multinational environment.
Specific Skills
- Strong strategic sourcing and procurement skills, particularly in logistics, transportation, and supply chain services.
- Proficiency in supplier sourcing, competitive bidding, cost analysis, rate benchmarking, contract negotiation, and vendor performance management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze logistics spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive supply chain efficiencies.
- Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and external service providers.
- Strong project management and execution skills.
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
