- Leverage and optimize native GCP services (e.g., Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, App Engine, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Build, Cloud CDN) to build robust and cost-efficient solutions.

- Provision and manage core Azure services (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps Pipelines).

- Ensure architectural patterns follow cloud best practices for resilience, observability, and cost management.

➧ Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

- Develop, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (strong proficiency required) and/or Google Cloud Deployment Manager for GCP, and Azure Bicep/ARM templates for Azure.

- Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources and services.

- Create and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build (GCP) and Azure DevOps Pipelines to automate application and infrastructure deployments across multiple environments.

- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell) for automating operational tasks, system health checks, and security remediations.

➧ Monitoring, Logging & Observability:

- Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Google Cloud's operations suite (Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Cloud Trace, Error Reporting, Application Performance Management) for GCP.

- Utilize Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics for Azure environments.

- Establish dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, errors, and security incidents.

- Drive the adoption of observability best practices across our platforms.

➧ Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) & Performance Optimization:

- Apply SRE principles to improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.

- Perform performance analysis and tuning for cloud infrastructure and applications.

- Implement disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high-availability solutions for critical systems.

- Participate in on-call rotations and incident management, performing root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing preventative measures.

➧ Security & Compliance (DevSecOps):

- Implement and enforce security best practices across all cloud environments, adhering to DevSecOps principles.

- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) on GCP and Azure, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and service accounts.

- Configure network security (VPC Service Controls, firewall rules, security groups) and data encryption.

- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.

➧ Collaboration & Mentorship:

- Work closely with development, QA, and project management teams to understand requirements and facilitate seamless software delivery.

- Provide expert guidance and technical mentorship to development teams on cloud-native patterns, DevOps practices, and platform optimization.

- Foster a culture of automation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the TechOps team.
