Role Overview
We are searching for a hands-on and highly skilled Control Systems & Automation Engineer to join our IoT division. In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of designing, integrating, and optimizing advanced automated manufacturing systems to maximize industrial productivity and operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Architect and deploy robust industrial automation solutions, with a heavy focus on PLC logic programming, HMI/SCADA interface development, and robotic integrations.
- Hardware & Network Setup: Configure, diagnose, and resolve issues within industrial control architectures, encompassing sensors, actuators, and core communication networks (Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
- Field Execution: Spearhead the end-to-end integration, rigorous testing, and final on-site commissioning of new or upgraded automation equipment.
- Technical Documentation: Draft and meticulously update comprehensive technical manuals, including control narratives, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Lead root-cause investigations for system faults and deploy effective countermeasures to minimize production downtime.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner closely with IT, maintenance, and production squads to guarantee seamless system interoperability.
- Knowledge Transfer: Deliver hands-on training and ongoing technical assistance to site operators and maintenance crews.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to industrial safety standards and compliance guidelines across all project phases while staying updated on emerging automation technologies.
What You Bring to the Team (Qualifications)
- Experience: At least 2+ years of hands-on professional experience executing industrial automation projects.
- Control Systems Mastery: Deep knowledge of process control methodologies and automated system architectures.
- Programming & Commissioning: Proven track record in programming, testing, and commissioning PLC and HMI systems from scratch.
- Industrial Protocols: Solid fluency in industrial networking and data protocols, specifically OPC/OPC UA, Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, and TCP/IP.
- Field Engineering: Practical field experience conducting site surveys, RTU/PLC hardware installation, panel wiring, and on-site troubleshooting.
- SCADA Expertise: Strong familiarity with SCADA platforms; prior experience with AVEVA/Wonderware (InTouch, System Platform) is highly preferred.
- IT Fundamentals: Basic administrative knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server/Client environments (including installation, configuration, and event log checking) is a strong plus.
- Language Skills: Good English comprehension (proficient in reading and writing technical documents).
- Soft Skills: A collaborative team player with a strong sense of responsibility, fully willing to travel for on-site project implementations and support.
