- Experience working within financial services or high-stakes environments, understanding the importance of security, performance, and reliability.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage responsibilities effectively, and collaborate within a small team setting.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Perl and/or Python scripting, familiarity with risk management concepts, and exposure to low-latency or high-availability system design. Candidates with Agile development experience will have an advantage.

- Writing and optimizing complex Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to support risk management and margin reporting systems.
- Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, implementing features, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications.
- Monitoring system health and performance metrics, proactively identifying issues, and implementing resolutions to ensure high system availability and reliability.
- Contributing to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
- Managing individual modules and features independently, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code.
