About The Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant (CPA/CA) to join our client’s dynamic finance team on a full-time basis. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a CPA or CA certification, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and international accounting standards is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with financial software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must, along with excellent communication abilities to articulate financial data clearly and confidently. A demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities effectively is also required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, to ensure proper financial tracking and reporting.
- Prepare and file tax returns, adhering to local, state, and federal tax regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax obligations.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify discrepancies, prevent fraud, and improve internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and management to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic insights and financial analysis to assist management in making informed business decisions.
