About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled AI / Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in Generative AI to join our innovative data team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and deploying large language model (LLM) capabilities that enhance customer interactions and streamline internal processes. Your responsibilities will include designing conversational AI agents, integrating voice-based solutions, and building scalable, production-ready AI applications tailored to our diverse markets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to explore cutting-edge AI approaches, assess their business value, and implement solutions that deliver measurable impact. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects that directly influence the customer journey and operational efficiency across multiple European countries.
Qualifications
- A degree in data science, machine learning, statistics, econometrics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Several years of hands-on experience in AI or Machine Learning Engineering, with a proven track record of developing and deploying solutions in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Docker.
- Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, vector databases, and conversational AI systems.
- Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts.
- Experience working with APIs, cloud platforms, and AI pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in Spanish or Italian is a plus.
- Curiosity, proactive mindset, and the ability to challenge assumptions and explore new AI methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI agents to enhance customer engagement and operational workflows.
- Implement voice-based AI solutions, including AI-powered call handling, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech functionalities.
- Integrate LLMs, APIs, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures into business applications.
- Build and maintain robust data and AI pipelines utilizing Python, SQL, Docker, and cloud technologies.
- Monitor AI systems in production, investigate incidents, and communicate proactively regarding releases and system malfunctions.
- Contribute to technical decision-making, including evaluating whether to build or buy AI solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI, sharing insights and best practices with the team.
- Ensure the safety, quality, and reliability of all AI solutions developed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align AI initiatives with business goals and customer needs.
