Role Description As a Test Analyst at EgoTECHworld, you will work full time in a remote capacity, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include planning and executing test cases, performing manual testing on new and existing features, and documenting test results and defects clearly. You will help manage test activities, track issues through resolution, and support continuous improvement of testing processes and standards. The role also involves analyzing requirements, identifying potential risks, and providing clear feedback to developers and product stakeholders to enhance overall product quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Testing and Manual Testing to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
- Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Test Management to plan, run, and track test activities effectively.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify defects, and propose improvements.
- Experience with defect tracking tools and test management platforms (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with basic software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and quality assurance methodologies is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment are required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
