Role Description The Website Designer is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing and maintaining visually engaging, user-friendly websites that align with EgoTECHworld’s brand and technical standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating wireframes and mockups, designing layouts and graphics, and implementing responsive web designs that perform well across devices and browsers. The role involves collaborating with developers, content creators, and stakeholders to refine design requirements, optimize user experience, and ensure consistency across digital properties. The Website Designer will also regularly review and update existing sites, troubleshoot design-related issues, and stay current with design trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Web Design and Responsive Web Design, with experience creating modern, user-centered interfaces.
- Proficiency in Graphic Design and working with Graphics for digital products, including icons, imagery, and visual assets.
- Working knowledge of Front-End Development (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) to effectively collaborate with developers and implement designs.
- Experience with common design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator) and version control or collaboration tools.
- Understanding of usability, accessibility standards, and basic SEO principles for web design.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and effective remote communication skills.
- Relevant education or training in design, computer science, or a related field; portfolio demonstrating web design projects is required.
