Role Description The Python ML Developer role is a full-time, remote position focused on designing, building, and deploying machine learning solutions using Python. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining backend services, implementing ML models, and integrating them into production systems. The role involves writing clean, efficient, and testable code, working with databases to manage and preprocess data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver features. The Python ML Developer will also optimize model performance, monitor system reliability, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Python and solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience with software development practices, including version control, testing, and continuous integration.
- Hands-on background in back-end web development and building RESTful APIs or microservices.
- Proficiency working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Practical experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate asynchronously.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical discussions and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying ML models to production is a plus.
