We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support legal and compliance activities in Atlanta, Georgia. This Long-term Contract position is suited for an individual who can manage documentation, coordinate case and regulatory materials, and help maintain organized legal records. The role requires strong judgment, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a structured legal environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and organize legal documents, correspondence, and case files to support ongoing matters and compliance-related work.
• Maintain accurate records and track deadlines, filings, and documentation requirements to help ensure timely legal support.
• Assist with research on legal, regulatory, and compliance topics and summarize findings for attorneys or internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate the collection, review, and management of materials related to consent decree obligations and related legal requirements.
• Support audits, investigations, and internal reviews by gathering documentation and maintaining clear file organization.
• Communicate with internal teams and external parties to obtain information, schedule activities, and facilitate document flow.
• Monitor compliance-related processes and help ensure required actions and records are completed in accordance with established standards.
• Experience working in a paralegal, legal support, or comparable compliance-focused role.
• Knowledge of legal documentation practices, records management, and deadline tracking.
• Familiarity with compliance processes and the ability to support regulated or controlled documentation environments.
• Understanding of consent decree-related documentation or experience supporting matters with formal legal oversight.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and well-structured documents.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills in managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with standard office and document management tools used in legal or administrative settings.
