- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript programming languages.

- Experience with LLM application engineering, including model APIs, prompt engineering, RAG systems, and knowledge bases.

- Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to document technical solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and operate AI systems such as agents, assistants, and automations, owning solutions from conception through production and maintenance.

- Build foundational platform components, including frameworks, knowledge-base pipelines, evaluation tools, and integrations with company systems.

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand workflows, identify automation opportunities, and implement AI-driven solutions.

- Implement security best practices, including access control, data privacy, auditability, and human-in-the-loop mechanisms where necessary.

- Measure system performance and impact, including adoption metrics, quality, cost savings, and efficiency improvements, using data to inform iterative enhancements.

- Ensure the reliability, observability, and maintainability of AI systems, including incident response and root cause analysis.

- Contribute to the AI software factory by establishing standards, skills, and practices for AI-assisted engineering across teams.

- Create comprehensive documentation, proposals, and runbooks to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational clarity.

- Mentor other engineers, participate in hiring efforts, and support onboarding processes to foster a strong, collaborative team environment.
