About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at the Grace Joel Retirement Village in St Heliers, Auckland. In this full-time role, working Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, you will leverage the latest technology, including our purpose-built care app, alongside your nursing and interpersonal skills. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Providing clinical leadership and management oversight to nursing, care, and auxiliary teams throughout the village.

- Ensuring that all residents receive compassionate and high-quality care.

- Leading, developing, and nurturing a strong team of motivated staff who are committed to delivering world-class care and treatment.

- Ensuring adherence to clinical policies and procedures.

- Supporting the Village Manager in various initiatives.

Who You Are

To excel in our supportive and caring environment, you will possess:

- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in residential aged care, with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

- Advanced clinical leadership skills, with a talent for coaching and mentoring your team.

- A passion for building meaningful, long-term relationships with staff, residents, and their families.

- A positive approach to infusing fun into nursing and healthcare for our dedicated teams.

- A solid understanding of continuous improvement systems and processes.

- A strong commitment to exceptional customer service and a drive to exceed expectations.

- Excellent communication skills, characterized by professionalism and empathy.

- A keen focus on clinical documentation and effective time management abilities.
