We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with strong expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of end-to-end WMS processes, enterprise system integrations, software implementations, and business analysis.
This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving requirements gathering, solution alignment, implementation, and rollout activities. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating cross-functional teams, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Travel Requirement
Minimum 50% travel to various client locations is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT business analysis initiatives within the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) domain, with a focus on supply chain, warehouse, and distribution operations.
- Analyze and document end-to-end WMS business processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of WMS processes and enterprise integrations across CRM, Order Management, WMS, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Procurement, and Financial Systems.
- Analyze complex business problems, gather and interpret data, and develop actionable insights and recommendations to support business and technology decisions.
- Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee software implementation and rollout activities, ensuring successful and timely deployments.
- Collaborate closely with Development, Configuration, QA, IT, and Business Operations teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, providing regular project updates and effectively managing expectations.
- Participate in solution design, system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
- Support functional testing, issue resolution, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation readiness activities.
- Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and potential issues and work with appropriate teams to develop effective solutions.
- Translate complex technical concepts and system capabilities into clear, concise business language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain business requirements, process documentation, functional specifications, and other project-related documentation.
- Provide leadership and coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience working as an IT Business Analyst within WMS, supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or distribution environments.
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and warehouse operations.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise application integrations and end-to-end data flows.
- Understanding of integrations between WMS and systems such as CRM, OMS, TMS, Procurement, and Financial applications.
- Experience supporting software implementations, system rollouts, and deployment initiatives.
- Strong requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
