2. About the Opportunity:
The Applied AI Engineer will work closely with US commercial and operational teams to develop AI agents and automation tools that enhance company workflows. The role aims to translate operational challenges into practical AI-driven solutions that increase efficiency and free up capacity for higher-value work.
3. Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents to automate administrative and repetitive commercial operations workflows
- Identify automation opportunities by collaborating with stakeholders to map processes and detect inefficiencies
- Develop solutions using large language models, automation tools, RESTful APIs, and Python scripting
- Rapidly prototype and deploy solutions with minimal overhead
- Act as the technical liaison embedded within commercial and PMO teams
- Translate ambiguous business needs into technical requirements and executable solutions
- Communicate progress and challenges to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Create and maintain technical documentation for tools and integrations
- Monitor deployed solutions and identify improvements for reliability and adoption
4. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM tools such as OpenAI or Anthropic
- At least 2 years of software development experience including real-world deployments
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, MCP servers, and third-party service integrations
- Skilled in Python scripting for automation and debugging
- Knowledge of prompt engineering best practices
- Proactive problem solver with a strong sense of initiative
- Effective communicator capable of working across business and engineering teams
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities
- Based in or able to work effectively within Eastern Time (EST)
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Base salary range of $105,000 to $120,000 depending on skills and experience
