About the Opportunity:
The Software Development Engineer - Fullstack designs, develops, and maintains end-to-end web applications that deliver scalable and reliable experiences for customers and internal users. This role develops features across front-end and back-end systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product outcomes, system reliability, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features and services, including user interfaces and APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering teams to refine requirements and deliver iterative improvements.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code and develop and maintain automated tests.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering quality standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production applications and services using logs, metrics, and alerts.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and documentation for moderately complex features.
• Mentor and support peers through pairing, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience developing web applications or services.
• Experience with both front-end and back-end technologies, including JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks and server-side languages or frameworks.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle within a collaborative engineering environment.
• Understanding of Generative AI capabilities, including natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
• Proficiency with LangChain or LlamaIndex for developing applications that use Large Language Model APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• For specified states including California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and Washington, D.C., the base salary range is $136,300–$217,700 annually.
• For states including Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia, the base salary range is $129,500–$206,900 annually.
• Eligibility for equity awards based on experience, performance, and location.
• Compensation will comply with applicable exempt employee salary thresholds in the employee’s state of residence.
