About the Opportunity:
The Business Analyst, Renewal Desk manages the end-to-end renewal process for the organization’s legal software products. This role connects customer relationships, commercial strategy, and operational execution to ensure renewals are accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives. The position serves as a subject matter expert on contracts and pricing, supports account teams, and facilitates renewal negotiations to strengthen customer retention and growth.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the full renewal lifecycle for an assigned portfolio of legal software products.
• Prepare and deliver accurate pricing proposals for customer renewals.
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding upcoming renewal requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Account Specialists, and Customer Success Managers to anticipate and resolve renewal issues.
• Identify and communicate renewal risks, opportunities, and potential areas for account growth.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on legal software contracts, pricing, and renewal terms.
• Act as the primary contact for contractual and pricing inquiries throughout the renewal process.
• Lead renewal negotiations using established playbooks and develop solutions for complex renewal scenarios.
• Maintain accurate renewal records and ensure timely completion of required activities.
• Continuously improve renewal processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and customer experience.
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in renewals, sales operations, contract management, business analysis, or a related field, preferably within SaaS or legal technology.
• Familiarity with legal software platforms or enterprise software contracts preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce and contract management tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret pricing models and business data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
