About the Opportunity:
The Leave Specialist manages and administers Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies across multiple client accounts. This role oversees employee leave requests, ensures compliance with applicable regulations, and provides responsive support throughout the leave process. The position contributes to accurate, timely, and consistent leave administration within a flexible remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Administer FMLA policies and leave processes for multiple client accounts.
• Receive, review, and manage employee leave requests and related documentation.
• Ensure leave administration complies with applicable federal, state, and client-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely leave records and case information.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees and relevant stakeholders throughout the leave process.
• Provide responsive guidance and support to employees regarding leave procedures and requirements.
• Monitor leave cases and follow established processes to ensure timely completion and resolution.
• Protect confidential employee information and maintain appropriate privacy standards.
• Identify and escalate complex leave issues when additional review or support is required.
Requirements:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
• Customer-focused approach with empathy and professionalism when supporting employees through leave processes.
• Experience with FMLA administration preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
