About the Opportunity:
The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst designs and delivers scalable business intelligence and data solutions that support organizational analytics needs. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership in data architecture, BI development, performance optimization, and data engineering. The position also provides technical guidance and mentorship while helping project teams deliver secure, maintainable, and high-performing BI solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence and analytics solutions using Power BI and Tableau.
• Develop supporting data models, semantic models, and analytical data marts optimized for reporting and analytics.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using SQL and relevant data technologies.
• Optimize performance across dashboards, data models, queries, pipelines, and supporting infrastructure.
• Apply software engineering and DevOps best practices, including version control, automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
• Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate business requirements into effective BI and data engineering solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while establishing development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the BI and data technology stack.
• Support project planning, effort estimation, risk identification, and proposal development.
• Evaluate technical approaches and recommend solutions that improve analytics capabilities and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
• 7–10 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex query development and optimization.
• Experience designing dimensional models and semantic data models.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS data solutions and cloud-based architectures.
• Ability to diagnose and optimize performance across BI and data environments.
• Experience applying software engineering practices such as CI/CD, version control, testing, and release management.
• Strong technical leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
