For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Java, Cloud & Generative AI to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will focus on designing and delivering scalable software solutions that support cloud-based healthcare initiatives and evolving AI capabilities.
The engineer will partner closely with architecture, engineering, and cross-functional technical teams to shape solution design, improve performance, and strengthen the overall development process.
The position also offers the opportunity to mentor other developers and contribute to modern engineering practices across the organization.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $106,605 – $260,590 annually
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software solutions
- Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions
- Provide insights on technical feasibility and performance optimization
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
- Communicate with team members to support alignment and technical insight
- Adopt best practices and new technologies to enhance productivity
- Mentor junior developers to strengthen their technical skills
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in large-scale distributed software design environments
- 5+ years of Java and Springboot development experience
- 5+ years in enterprise cloud initiatives using cloud computing technologies
- 5+ years designing and developing microservices and APIs
- 3+ years in CI/CD pipeline automation
- 3+ years in Agile development environments
- 2+ years of Agentic AI / Generative AI experience
