We are recruiting an experienced Engineering Services Supervisor for a permanent opportunity within a mining operation in the Northern Cape.
This is a hands-on supervisory position responsible for leading engineering maintenance across mine infrastructure, including water and power supply, sewage systems, buildings, roads, TMM, lighting plants and associated equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / N3
- Recognised Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Electrician or Fitter
- 10+ years' relevant maintenance experience within general mine infrastructure / associated equipment
- Minimum 5 years' experience working as a qualified artisan in mining
- At least 3 years' supervisory experience
- Strong Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) exposure
- Experience with dewatering pumps, lighting plants and general mine infrastructure
- Knowledge of RCFA, CMMS, RCM and ICAM
- Strong understanding of mining safety standards and maintenance practices
- Valid driver's licence
- Medically fit to work within a mining environment
The role will involve: leading maintenance teams, preventative and statutory maintenance planning, contractor management, engineering safety compliance, budgeting, spares management and ensuring infrastructure and equipment availability.
