The role
You are the first marketing hire and you own the category. Solo at the start, you build positioning, messaging, and the growth engine from zero, and you write the playbook a future team will run. You work directly with the founder, who has run performance marketing at scale and hands you the product and customer truth to build on.
What you will own
- Positioning and messaging for an AI-native product category that doesn't have an incumbent playbook yet
- The growth engine end to end: content, channels, launch moments, and the metrics that prove it's working
- Brand voice and narrative across every surface PaidSync shows up on
- The feedback loop into product and sales on what resonates with real buyers
- Building the marketing function a future team inherits
Who you are
- You have built a marketing function from zero before, not just run campaigns inside one someone else built
- You have sold into or worked inside adtech, martech, or paid media, and can hold your own on ROAS, CAC, and platform economics
- You genuinely believe AI agents change how marketing gets done, because that shift is the whole product
- You run alone at the start. You build your own systems and execute without a supporting cast
