Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Factory Manager to oversee the complete day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. The role will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, quality, productivity, cost control, safety, and ensuring timely completion of production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overall factory operations and ensure smooth day-to-day production.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to meet deadlines and business requirements.
- Manage production teams, supervisors, and factory workers.
- Monitor productivity, machine utilization, manpower efficiency, and production targets.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained and minimize defects, rework, and wastage.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Projects, Design, Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
- Monitor raw material usage, inventory, wastage, and production costs.
- Ensure proper maintenance and efficient utilization of machinery and equipment.
- Implement and maintain factory safety, HSE, housekeeping, and operational procedures.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and continuous improvement measures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports for management.
- Ensure timely dispatch of finished products as per project and delivery requirements.
- Manage workforce discipline, attendance, performance, training, and resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Factory Manager, Production Manager, or Operations Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience in production planning, team management, quality control, and cost optimization.
- Strong knowledge of machinery, production processes, inventory control, and factory operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production priorities.
- UAE manufacturing/factory experience is preferred.
