Key Responsibilities:
- Attend to truck and trailer breakdowns on-site.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
- Conduct emergency repairs on side tipper trailers and truck tractors.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Work closely with the workshop and operations teams to minimise downtime.
- Complete breakdown reports and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and according to company standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working on heavy-duty trucks and side tipper trailers.
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical components.
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to work after hours, weekends, and be available for standby duties.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
Pay: From R7 000,00 per month
