Responsibilities
- Manage daily fleet operations, routes, fuel, and productivity
- Allocate driver tasks and monitor deliveries and performance
- Oversee maintenance, services, and vehicle compliance
- Manage a fleet of 15–25 side tipper trucks
- Enforce driver discipline, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Investigate incidents and manage fleet via the TMS system
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Fleet Controller in transport/logistics
- Computer proficient with fleet tracking system experience
- Strong knowledge of transport operations and route planning
- Familiar with telematics systems (e.g. Mix Telematics or similar)
Willing to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends
