Infrastructure Project Manager – SAP to AWS Migration

Monthly Salary: MXN $85,000 gross

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the migration of SAP workloads from an on-premises VMware environment to AWS. This role requires strong technical infrastructure knowledge, project governance, and senior stakeholder-management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects involving SAP workload migration from VMware to AWS.
- Develop and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, budgets, risks, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate infrastructure, SAP, cloud, security, network, database, application, and vendor teams.
- Manage migration planning, readiness assessments, testing, cutover activities, and post-migration stabilization.
- Identify technical and operational risks and drive mitigation plans.
- Track project progress and provide clear status reporting to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Facilitate governance meetings, technical discussions, and decision-making sessions.
- Manage scope changes, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
- Ensure migration activities meet security, performance, availability, and business-continuity requirements.
- Coordinate documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational handover.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing infrastructure or cloud-migration projects.
- Direct experience moving SAP workloads from on-premises VMware environments to AWS.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, migration, and cutover concepts.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and third-party vendors.
- Strong project planning, risk management, reporting, and governance skills.
- Excellent English communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale or business-critical SAP environments.
- Knowledge of AWS infrastructure and migration services.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project-delivery models.
- PMP, Scrum, AWS, ITIL, or related certifications.
