Performance Test Engineer
Location: Remote – Mexico
Monthly Salary: MXN $80,000 gross

We are looking for Performance Test Engineers with strong experience designing and executing load, stress, endurance, and capacity tests for complex enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and capacity tests.
- Develop browser-based and protocol-level performance test scripts.
- Test file uploads, multipart transactions, and complex customer journeys across multiple systems.
- Model concurrent users, transaction volumes, workloads, and production-like scenarios.
- Perform performance testing for Java applications running on WebSphere, WebLogic, and Oracle environments.
- Correlate test results with backend monitoring, logs, and telemetry.
- Identify bottlenecks across applications, middleware, databases, integrations, and external dependencies.
- Conduct capacity, scalability, and breakpoint analysis.
- Develop synthetic monitoring for critical customer journeys.
- Define performance non-functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and release gates.
- Compare test results against actual production behavior.
- Document root causes, recommendations, and remediation validation results.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, k6, or a comparable performance-testing tool.
- Proven experience with load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing.
- Experience developing browser-based and protocol-level test scenarios.
- Knowledge of concurrent-user and transaction-volume modeling.
- Experience monitoring application, middleware, and database performance.
- Ability to isolate performance bottlenecks and clearly document root causes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing Java-based enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of WebSphere, WebLogic, and Oracle environments.
- Experience with observability, telemetry, or application performance-monitoring platforms.
- Experience defining performance release gates and validating remediation actions.
