Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Solder Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, soldering, and testing electronic components and assemblies with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality electronic products by following detailed blueprints, schematics, and industry standards. Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology (SMT) techniques.
- Perform soldering tasks adhering to IPC 610 standards to ensure reliable electrical connections.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately follow assembly instructions.
- Build electrical panels and electro-mechanical components by wiring and connecting parts according to schematics.
- Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to verify electrical continuity and troubleshoot issues during assembly.
- Conduct quality inspections of assembled units, ensuring compliance with manufacturing specifications and blueprint requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve assembly or troubleshooting issues related to electro-mechanical components or wiring.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electronics assembly, soldering, and working with PCB components.
- Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments like ohmmeters for electrical verification.
- Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly quality control.
- Experience building electrical panels or working on electro-mechanical assemblies is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a background in engineering troubleshooting or mechanical assembly are advantageous.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
