We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fire Alarm System Construction Sales Representative to join our high-performing team in Houston, TX. We’re looking for a relationship-driven sales professional with a strong background in fire alarm construction sales or service. In this role, you’ll identify new opportunities, build long-term partnerships with customers, and promote tailored fire alarm solutions that enhance building safety and compliance.

What You’ll Do

Proactively develop and grow sales opportunities with new and existing customers.

Conduct consistent cold calls and outside sales visits to generate leads and expand market presence.

Perform building surveys and develop comprehensive sales proposals tailored to customer needs.

Present and negotiate service agreements including inspections, preventive maintenance, system monitoring, and repairs.

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver accurate estimates, specifications, and sales presentations.

Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively position solutions.

Prepare and manage sales forecasts, activity reports, and expense documentation.

Analyze inspection reports and coordinate with service management to develop repair quotes.

Support customer retention and satisfaction efforts through responsive communication and trusted advisement.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Communications, or a related field (preferred).

5+ years of proven success in fire alarm system construction sales or related service sales.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record (no violations in the past 3 years).

NICET Level I Certification in Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, or Special Hazards (preferred).

Technical understanding of fire alarm systems, electronics, or related software is a plus.

Self-motivated team player with a professional demeanor and results-driven approach.
