Description
Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group, is seeking an HVAC Airside Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key role in improving building performance and occupant comfort by cleaning, refurbishing, and maintaining air handling systems. What You’ll Do
-
Operate and maintain all duct-cleaning equipment.

Access, remove, and clean air distribution components and equipment.

Sell ancillary products and services in conjunction with duct cleaning service.

Prepare and complete all job-related paperwork accurately and promptly.

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked company vehicle.

Complete Air Handling Unit (AHU) refurbishing, including:

Cleaning and sanitizing AHUs
-
Upgrading filtration systems
-
Coating interior surfaces of AHUs

Replacing coils, motors, and bearings as needed

Establish service by studying system requirements, ordering and gathering parts, completing installation, and performing acceptance tests.

Maintain excellent customer relationships by identifying concerns, recommending improvements, and providing solutions.

Troubleshoot and maintain personal equipment and tools.

Document work and updates using service forms, reports, logs, and records.

Stay informed through continued education and industry publications.

Contribute to team success by completing other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring

Certificate from a technical/trade school in HVAC or a minimum of 2 years of relevant HVAC or duct-cleaning experience (or a combination of both).

Basic understanding of duct mechanics and their impact on Indoor Air Quality.

Mechanical aptitude; experience is a plus.

Strong communication skills—verbal and written.

Dependability and professionalism.

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability and willingness to undergo pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug test.

The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
