Hunton Distribution, a division of the Hunton Group, has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an HVAC Counter Sales Representative in College Station, TX . In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking HVAC parts, supplies, and technical guidance. We are looking for a bilingual candidate with strong proficiency in both English and Spanish who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

Provide excellent customer service by assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate HVAC parts, equipment, and filtration solutions.

Conduct sales transactions over the phone and at the counter with commercial HVAC owners, residential contractors, and self-servicing end users.

Assist customers with order placement, technical support, product returns, and warranty claims.

Manage sales leads and opportunities by accurately quoting projects and promoting applicable product solutions.

Coordinate product promotions and maintain knowledge of the Trane product line to effectively support customer inquiries.

Receive, stock, and process incoming shipments of HVAC parts and supplies.

Track and update inventory records and assist with maintaining adequate stock levels.

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a seamless and responsive customer experience.

Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Spanish.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

HVAC industry experience or technical knowledge preferred.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

Ability to stand, walk, reach, and handle materials for extended periods.

Comfortable working at heights and using ladders or lifts up to 30 feet.

Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies).

Visual acuity to identify parts and read technical documents.

Manual dexterity for operating a computer, phone, and other tools.
Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required.
-
One-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred.
-
3–5 years of customer service, sales, or HVAC-related experience preferred.
