This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable reading blueprints, enjoys working with customers, and can take the lead on equipment installations in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer facilities to support and oversee the installation of custom industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, drawings, and equipment layouts to ensure proper installation.
- Provide hands-on mechanical support during equipment assembly, installation, and startup.
- Direct and supervise customer technicians and tradespeople involved in the installation process.
- Serve as the primary on-site representative, communicating professionally with customers throughout the project.
- Identify installation issues, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and coordinate with internal engineering and technical teams when needed.
- Ensure installations are completed safely, accurately, and according to project requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial equipment, machinery, fabrication, maintenance, installation, or a related field.
- Ability to confidently read and work from mechanical blueprints and drawings.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with customers in a professional environment.
- Comfortable taking the lead and directing other technicians/tradespeople during equipment installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field.
- Experience with custom machinery, capital equipment, industrial installation, or manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Willing and able to travel to international customer locations.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
