We are seeking a highly analytical, hands-on Director of Growth & Revenue Operations to own and optimize a high-volume inbound revenue engine.
This is not a traditional sales management role.
The right leader will understand how paid acquisition, CRM architecture, marketing analytics, sales execution, automation, and conversion optimization work together to drive revenue growth.
This role will be responsible for the full inbound funnel—from the moment marketing dollars are spent to acquire attention through the point that a qualified prospect converts into a customer.
What You’ll Own
You will be responsible for the performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the inbound revenue funnel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and optimize paid advertising performance across platforms such as Meta and Google
- Monitor campaign performance, lead quality, cost per lead, customer acquisition cost, and return on advertising spend
- Own HubSpot as the primary operating system for the inbound revenue organization
- Build and optimize HubSpot workflows, automations, lead routing, lifecycle stages, pipelines, and reporting
- Maintain CRM architecture, data integrity, attribution, and funnel visibility
- Track prospects through every stage of the customer journey
- Identify where leads stall, disengage, fail to qualify, or drop out of the funnel
- Improve speed-to-lead, contact rates, qualification rates, appointment rates, application rates, and conversion rates
- Develop lead nurture, follow-up, re-engagement, and remarketing strategies
- Build dashboards that clearly show funnel performance by campaign, market, source, channel, location, and salesperson
- Lead and manage the inbound sales team
- Establish clear expectations for lead response, follow-up, pipeline management, and CRM activity
- Develop sales scripts, processes, cadences, and workflows based on actual performance data
- Evaluate individual sales performance and identify coaching and process improvement opportunities
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and executive leadership
- Test new campaigns, messaging, workflows, scripts, automation, and conversion strategies
- Connect marketing spend directly to pipeline, customer acquisition, and revenue outcomes
- Build forecasting models and reporting that allow leadership to understand performance and make better investment decisions
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and scalability of the revenue engine
How We Think About This Role
We are not looking for someone who simply reports how many leads were generated last month.
We want someone who continuously asks:
- Why did these leads enter the funnel?
- What did it cost to acquire them?
- Which campaigns generated the highest-quality opportunities?
- Which channels produce the strongest conversion rates?
- How quickly are leads being contacted?
- Where are prospects falling out of the funnel?
- Which salespeople are converting most effectively?
- Which markets or sources perform differently?
- Are workflows helping or hurting conversion?
- Are sales scripts and follow-up cadences working?
- Where is revenue being lost?
- What can we change this month to improve next month’s results?
The goal is continuous optimization.
This person should enjoy finding inefficiencies, testing solutions, measuring the impact, and repeating the process.
