About The Role
The Strategic Project Manager (Finance) is a pivotal role within our client organization, responsible for leading high-impact financial initiatives that support the company's growth and operational efficiency. Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial project management, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present actionable insights.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards such as GAAP, IFRS, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications like CFA, CPA, or CMA are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage strategic finance projects from initiation through to completion, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop financial strategies aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Develop and refine financial models to evaluate project feasibility, potential risks, and return on investment (ROI).
- Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Coordinate with finance and operational teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement best practices.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes that could impact financial strategies and compliance requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
