About the Role
Avis Budget Group is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist to provide personalized, premium service to Avis First customers in Kahului, Hawaii.
As a front-line customer experience professional, you will help ensure a smooth experience from vehicle delivery through collection. The role combines customer service, communication, logistics coordination, and hands-on vehicle support.
This opportunity may be well suited to candidates with customer service, hospitality, valet driving, or car rental experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and interacting directly with customers.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a professional, welcoming, and personalized customer experience.
Deliver rental vehicles directly to customers as part of the premium Avis First service.
Coordinate vehicle delivery and collection with team members and management.
Communicate proactively with customers by phone, text, email, and app.
Confirm meeting locations, logistics, special requests, and other rental details.
Greet customers upon arrival and assist with their initial rental experience.
Open vehicle doors and assist customers with luggage when appropriate.
Provide customers with an overview of their rental vehicle.
Maintain clear communication throughout the delivery and collection process.
Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality or car rental.
Professional and friendly demeanor with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable using mobile devices and various technology tools.
Valid driver's license.
At least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Physical & On-Site Requirements
This position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
The role requires the ability to:

Enter and exit a variety of automobiles.
Drive different types of vehicles.
Work in various weather conditions.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay: $20.50 per hour
Retention Bonus: Up to $3,500
