They will have strong experience with advanced SQL, data transformations, and dimensional modeling. Proficiency in Power BI, including best practices for desktop and service environments, is essential. Familiarity with data architecture concepts and modern BI tools such as Snowflake or dbt is considered an asset. Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems, along with the ability to interpret complex data structures, is highly desirable. The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. A strong focus on data quality, solution maintainability, and continuous improvement, combined with organizational skills and the ability to thrive in an agile environment, are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Translate business requirements into clear, well-documented data transformations aligned with architectural standards.

- Create and manage data transformation pipelines (ELT/ETL) in collaboration with Data Engineering teams.

- Participate actively in analytical architecture decisions, including modeling choices, standards, patterns, and semantic layers.

- Work closely with Data Architects throughout data modeling stages, ensuring alignment with analytical needs and data consumption perspectives.

- Analyze data from various sources, primarily SAP and enterprise systems, to ensure data consistency, quality, and business understanding.

- Implement data validation, testing, and anomaly detection to maintain high data quality standards.

- Document data transformations, models, and business definitions within semantic layers for clarity and future reference.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure metrics, KPIs, and definitions accurately reflect operational realities.

- Contribute to the continuous evolution and improvement of the analytics platform, from raw data ingestion to consumption layers.

- Act as a reference for best practices in analytical modeling and SQL development within the organization.
