## About the Role
Interactive Brokers is seeking **UI/UX Design Interns for its 2027 internship program**. Interns will join the design team and help create intuitive, visually engaging digital experiences across client-facing mobile, desktop, and web trading applications.
This is a **9-week, full-time onsite internship** offering hands-on experience in user research, usability testing, visual design, and digital product development.
## Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to user experience design for mobile, desktop, and web trading applications.
* Create wireframes, workflows, and high-fidelity mockups.
* Assist with design audits and user research.
* Support the creation of digital design assets.
* Participate in usability testing and translate insights into design solutions.
* Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to incorporate feedback.
* Help deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences.
* Take ownership of projects with guidance from a dedicated mentor.
## Required Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a **BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field**.
* Minimum **3.5 GPA**.
* Proficiency in **Figma and Adobe Creative Suite**.
* Strong understanding of visual design principles and processes.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to self-start and manage time effectively.

* Ability to commit to the full **9-week program**.
## Preferred Qualifications
* Expected graduation between **December 2027 and May 2027** is preferred as stated in the posting.
