Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data & AI Engineer with strong expertise in data engineering, cloud data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML. The role involves designing scalable data solutions, developing ETL/ELT pipelines, supporting AI/ML initiatives, and contributing to GCP-to-Azure migration and Azure data platform implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes, data models, and analytics workflows.
- Develop data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Azure Data Lake.
- Support AI/ML and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Contribute to GCP-to-Azure cloud migration projects and Azure data platform implementation.
- Perform data transformation, integration, quality, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, architects, and engineering teams.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and reliable data solutions.
- Support reporting and visualization requirements using Power BI and/or Tableau.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, AI, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Python
- SQL
- Data Modeling
- ETL/ELT
- Strong experience with:
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Lake
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven experience in GCP-to-Azure migration or similar cloud migration initiatives.
- Understanding of AI/ML solutions and their integration with data platforms.
- Knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, on-site environment.
Good to Have
- Experience designing modern cloud data architectures.
- Experience with advanced analytics and AI/ML data pipelines.
- Exposure to Azure modernization and migration programs.
- Experience with both GCP and Azure data services.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security practices.
