## About the Role
Vivid Resourcing is working with a Utrecht-based SaaS company that builds platforms for hotels, restaurants, and hospitality groups to manage daily operations, including front-desk activities, reservations, guest communication, and back-office reporting.
As a UX/UI Designer, you will shape how hospitality staff experience the platform, focusing on clarity, speed, and ease of use in busy, real-world environments. You will work closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the design process, from user research and discovery to shipped features, with the opportunity to influence both the product and its design systems.
## Key Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end UX/UI design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity UI design, and engineering handoff.
* Conduct user interviews and engage directly with hotel staff, restaurant managers, and front-desk teams to understand workflows and pain points.
* Design and evolve the product design system to maintain consistency as the platform grows.
* Create prototypes and test design ideas quickly.
* Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usage data.
* Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure shipped features match the intended design and usability standards.
* Design intuitive interfaces for hospitality professionals working in busy, real-world environments.
* Contribute to building a strong design culture as one of the first dedicated designers on the team.
## Required Qualifications
* Solid portfolio demonstrating UX and UI design work for digital products.
* Confidence using Figma or similar design tools for wireframing, prototyping, and design systems.
* Experience conducting or contributing to user research, including interviews, usability testing, or similar methods.
* Strong ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive and efficient user interfaces.
* Comfortable collaborating closely with engineers and product managers.
* Ability to clearly explain design decisions.
* Fluent in English.
## Preferred Qualifications
* Experience designing SaaS or B2B digital products.
* Experience designing for hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or hospitality management software.
* Experience designing for users who are not sitting at a desk throughout the day.
