About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Data Analyst to join our team on-site in Portland, Oregon. This role is essential in ensuring that our organization adheres to operational standards and complies with external regulatory frameworks. The analyst will be responsible for compiling and reviewing clinical documentation, auditing performance tracking systems, and preparing detailed reports for executive leadership, regulatory agencies, and licensing boards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with local program managers to identify operational gaps, process errors, and areas for improvement. They will assist in implementing data collection protocols, providing staff training, and ensuring compliance with state behavioral health regulations and documentation laws. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of our programs while supporting the organization's commitment to quality care and regulatory adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar analytical role
- Strong understanding of data gathering, screening, coding, transforming, and modeling techniques
- Knowledge of state behavioral health regulations and documentation laws
- Proficiency in data analysis software and programming languages such as MS Excel, Pentaho, SPSS, SAS, SQL, R, Python, and AMOS (preferred)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Ensure organizational compliance with operational standards and external regulatory requirements
- Compile, review, and audit clinical documentation and performance tracking systems
- Prepare comprehensive reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with program managers to identify operational gaps and process errors
- Assist staff in implementing data collection protocols and conducting training sessions
- Monitor adherence to state behavioral health regulations and documentation laws
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data records and documentation
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives through data analysis and reporting
- Participate in internal audits and compliance reviews as required
