Our client, a premier global management consulting firm, is expanding its regional tax practice and seeking a high-performing Manager specializing in Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing.
In this pivotal advisory role, you will lead complex cross-border tax engagements, advise financial services clients on international tax structuring, and design robust transfer pricing strategies aligned with BEPS 2.0 and regional tax regulations across APAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Tax Strategy & Advisory: Lead advisory engagements covering corporate tax planning, cross-border restructurings, M&A tax due diligence, and international tax compliance for global clients.
- Transfer Pricing Design & Execution: Formulate, review, and implement transfer pricing policies, benchmark studies, valuation analyses, and defense files (Master File / Local File / CbCR).
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders and tax directors, delivering clear, commercially viable tax solutions.
- Regulatory & Dispute Resolution: Navigate complex tax audits, advance pricing agreements (APAs), and mutual agreement procedures (MAP) with tax authorities.
- Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and mentor senior associates and consultants, fostering a high-performance team culture.
Requirements
- Experience: 6–9+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Tax and/or Transfer Pricing within a Big 4, top-tier consulting firm, or multinational corporation.
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CA, SCTP, or Admission to the Bar) are strongly preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of local tax laws, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS Pillar 1 & Pillar 2 developments, and regional APAC tax regimes.
- Skills: Outstanding analytical, commercial, and client-facing communication skills with a proven track record of managing project deliverables independently.
