Senior Associate Fund
Location: Wroclaw
Work model: hybrid, 1 day from home
Working hours: 9:00 -18:00, with 1 hour lunch break
Contract: 12 months contract fix term contract with a possibility of extension

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Associate to join our Client Activation (Fund Accounting) team in Wrocław.
This is a high-impact role focused on fund onboarding and client activation, where you will take ownership of key workstreams and play an important role in ensuring successful and controlled fund launches. You will gain exposure to complex fund structures, global clients, and cross-functional operations, while gradually building the expertise and confidence to take on broader responsibilities within the organization.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead assigned onboarding and activation workstreams, ensuring readiness for fund launches and smooth transition to business-as-usual operations,
- Review and validate key fund accounting deliverables, including static data, accounting setups, fee configurations, and initial NAV outputs.
- Perform accurate setup, configuration, and validation of fund structures within client’s internally developed systems.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, supporting coordination and resolving queries throughout the activation process.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration lifecycle, including reconciliation and issue resolution.
- Collaborate across Fund Accounting, Custody, Transfer Agency, Technology, and Client Service to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Monitor progress, timelines, and risks, proactively escalating and supporting resolution of any issues impacting delivery.
- Support tracking of migration progress, including identification, escalation, and mitigation of risks and issues.
- Contribute to maintaining a strong control environment and high-quality standards.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.
- Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives, helping to enhance efficiency and scalability.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Required:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting or financial services,
- Good understanding of financial instruments and fund structures,
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work through complex processes,
- Very good English communication skills,
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets,
- High level of accuracy, accountability, and ability to manage deadlines.
Nice to Have:
- Initial experience in mentoring or supporting junior team members,
- Hands-on experience with German-domiciled investment funds, including in-depth knowledge of German fund accounting principles, regulatory requirements, NAV production, income distribution, tax treatment, and market-specific operational practices.
- Experience in onboarding and transitioning German fund clients, including requirements analysis, target operating model design, gap assessments, and cross-functional coordination to support the successful implementation of German fund accounting solutions.
- Exposure to automation, data analytics, or process improvement initiatives (e.g., Alteryx or similar tools).
