One of my clients is hiring an Litigation Paralegal based out of Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents, including routine pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, affidavits, and correspondence.
- Electronically file documents in Texas state and federal courts in accordance with applicable court rules and procedures.
- Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal authorities; prepare written summaries and analyses for attorneys.
- Prepare summaries of client, plaintiff, defendant, and witness statements.
- Organize, maintain, retrieve, and manage electronic case files and supporting documentation.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness files, and trial materials.
- Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and other case-related appointments.
- Scan, index, and maintain electronic documents.
- Accurately record billable time and complete other administrative duties as assigned.

- Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with electronic filing in Texas state and federal courts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.
