Position Overview:
An AV-rated Bay Area law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have several years of insurance coverage and/or litigation experience and be prepared to take on significant case-handling responsibilities.
Attorneys located outside the Bay Area are also encouraged to apply, as the firm offers both hybrid and fully remote work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle significant case responsibilities from inception through resolution.
- Manage insurance coverage and litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare high-quality written work product.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
- Independently manage assigned cases and meet deadlines.
- Support the firm’s litigation and insurance coverage practice as needed.
Qualifications:
- California Bar admission required.
- Several years of insurance coverage and/or litigation experience.
- Excellent legal writing and communication skills.
- Ability to assume significant responsibility for case handling.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and case-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
