The Antitrust Paralegal is an integral part of the Paralegal team and will be responsible for performing legal tasks, working on legal projects, and providing various support functions to supervisors, while assisting attorneys with the preparation and submission of HSR premerger antitrust filings with the Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Justice.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Assisting attorneys with preparing and submitting HSR premerger antitrust filings with the Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Justice
- Coordinating ongoing projects and activities in either on-site or off-site locations, utilizing project assistants and support departments when necessary
- Developing procedures with supervisors for electronic or physical tracking, coding, and ensuring quality control systems for documents
- Attending and providing support to attorneys at court or agency hearings
- Creating and maintaining calendars for cases or transactions and distributing to supervisors and other team members
- Drafting forms, letters, or other legal documents
