We’re hiring a Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing consumer tech company at a major inflection point.
This is not a “take tickets and wait for direction” role. You’ll have real ownership, meaningful scope, and the opportunity to take responsibility for a large part of the engineering system.
What we’re looking for
- BS in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 3–8 years of backend engineering experience
- Strong experience in Go/Golang, or the ability to ramp quickly
- Background at a high-growth startup or high-bar engineering environment
- Track record of owning and shipping consumer-facing backend features
- Experience improving CI/CD, experimentation or developer infrastructure
- Exposure to data-driven systems such as matchmaking, anti-fraud or recommendation engines
What you’ll be doing
- Build and ship consumer-facing backend features tied directly to core business metrics
- Solve challenging data-driven problems across areas like matchmaking, anti-fraud and recommendations
- Improve the engineering engine — from CI/CD to experimentation platforms
- Own projects end-to-end, from idea through launch and measurable impact
- Take on increasing responsibility as the team scales
