Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to monitor incidents and prepare timely reports
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and configuration management to secure infrastructure, OS platforms, and middleware software
- Plan and perform security assessments covering physical security domains, including data center security
- Research and evaluate emerging trends and technologies across information security and fintech, such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Cloud Computing
- Assist in establishing and reviewing security policies, guidelines, and procedures spanning system, physical, and fintech technology security
- Develop security strategies, maintain regulatory compliance, and deliver effective solutions to address audit findings
- Manage corporate data consent in strict alignment with industry standards and regulatory procedures
Required Competences
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of relevant experience in IT security, technology risk, risk management, compliance, or IT audit gained from sizable financial institutions (candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager)
- Solid knowledge of vulnerability assessment, firewalls, IPS, IDPS, application security for financial systems, system platform operations, and architecture design
- Familiarity with HKMA TMG-1, TM-E-1, PCI-DSS, ISO 2700-series, or other security risk management frameworks is an advantage
- Professional Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent qualifications (including those under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework)
- Independent and self-motivated practitioner with good communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and flexibility in traveling
- Proficient in English and Chinese (Mandarin is preferable)
